This ceramics factory, located near Manila, had a badly corroded metal roof with hundreds of holes in it. Water would drip all over the factory during the rainy months. The factory workers would routinely squeeze into the sections of the factory where there was no water dripping!
The owners of the plant considered replacing the roof with pre-painted metal sheets, but eventually decided on recoating the existing roof with ENESEAL HR. The ENESEAL alternative was 60% less expensive than replacement. That represented a significant cost savings on this 35,000 sq. ft. roof.
After cleaning the roof, self-adhesive fiberglass mesh was applied over all the holes in the corrugated metal sheets. This was followed by a two-coat application of ENESEAL HR.
The factory staff no longer needs to “keep moving” during rain storms and the factory is noticeably cooler.
